Culvert

Splish-splash...
Echoing crickets from the light at the end of the tunnel.
The sound of water rippling.
A swish of grass.
"Chirp!"

Mint Puff Tree

A shush of air,
                "Puff...."
Tickled my nose.
A spash of water,
                "Sposh...."
Swished to my ear.
As I wondered with the winds,
Following the clouds,

          Hovering above,


The millpond.

Tree and pond.

The breeze hushes,

The green grass shushes,

A pebble bumbles,

Pushed by the steam.

The blue sky glints,

The blinding sun tints

Everything

A lovely hue.
